Who am I?

My name is Sandrine Luz de Abreu, and after years of serving the tourism industry, I began the herbalist curriculum at the Lyon School of Medicinal Plants and Natural Knowledge in 2016, which certified me as a Herbalist in 2019.

I created the project of LA MAISON EUCALYPTUS: nestled in the heart of a property planted with eucalyptus, it is a nod to our family history place, in Northern Portugal between the ocean and the mountains.

This is where I spent my vacations, cradled by the stories of my great-grandmother, Deolinda, an exceptional woman, who passed down this natural treasure to her family.

Inspired by my knowledge of herbalism and the benefits of eucalyptus, I wanted to create natural products through the extraction of plant molecules using distillation, maceration, and dried plants... to support Asthma and other ENT problems that I know well personally.

Sensitive to the scents and aromas of plants, I followed the Olfactotherapy® course by Gilles Fournil (his psychosensory method created in 1992 studies the psychosensorial influence of odors), complemented by the teaching of Olfacto-sacrée, by Cyrille Pelard, Priest of Celtic Christianity and a fascinating artisan perfumer, creator of unctions.

All these rich teachings allowed me to study the impact of plants on my own health and emotions, to share and offer my advice and my plant-based preparations derived from plants and perfumes in the service of well-being and self-care.

Sandrine.

The Forest of Globulous Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus forest, which has always belonged to my family for several generations, is located in the north of Portugal. I harvest the leaves and bark of our Eucalyptus globulus to transform them into skincare products.

Very attached to this place and the land of my ancestors that inspires me, I draw inspiration from it to create my products.
